Your website visit is simplified communication between you or your browser and our web server. As with any communication, when you visit our website, data are exchanged or new data about the circumstances of the communication (so-called metadata) are generated.

Since you are a participant in this communication, all these data theoretically allow a more or less direct inference to your person and are therefore to be considered as "personal" or personal-related, which is why we must comply with the applicable data protection requirements.

Since this data concerns your person more or less directly, we want to inform you in the following which data we or our server gets from you as well as how and for which purposes we use these data further.

When visiting our website

When you visit the www.ipath-network.com website, your browser automatically sends data to the web server on our website, which you cannot prevent. The data listed below are stored by our server (temporarily) in a so-called log file until automated deletion:

  • possibly, a previous website from which you came to our website (so-called referrer URL),
  • the browser you are using and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider, which in turn can be derived from the IP address.

These data are processed by us for the following purposes:

We save the data in accordance with our Terms of Use or no longer than necessary in order to comply with the requirements of the act of storage limitations (GDPR) and to be able to follow the above-mentioned purposes.

As described under 1.), it is very important to us not to disclose to external third parties the data of your visit, except:

  • you agree with the revelation,
  • we are legally obliged to transmit or
  • it is technically implied.

Because we cannot operate our server ourselves, we have this done by our provider, the Basys Data GmbH. This has possibly the ability to access the data specified in this statement.

In order to arrange the access of this company properly, we have ensured by appropriate contractual arrangements (order processing contract) and organizational measures, that such an access takes place only in the necessary framework as well as for legally authorized purposes.

Furthermore, we want to point out that there can always be people / organizations that may illicitly follow the communication on the Internet / via e-mail, on whom or on which we have no influence. 7. Data security

As described at the beginning, it is very important to us to protect you or your data as best as possible. For this reason, we have taken various measures to protect your data as much as possible against unauthorized notice.

To prevent outsiders from "listening in" to the communication, we apply the widely used Secure Socket Layer (SSL) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Usually this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support such high encryption, we will instead use 128-bit v3 technology. The fact that the communication with our website is encrypted can be recognized by the closed representation of the key or lock symbol, which is usually located on the right in the bottom status bar of your browser.

We also use what we consider appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties.
